Position Overview:
This role combines warehouse assistance, forklift operation, customer service, and toolbox fitting and installation. As a vital member of our team, you'll handle various responsibilities such as order picking, customer loading, maintaining a tidy workspace, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse.
- Possess a valid driver's license for onsite vehicle operation.
- Fit and install toolboxes onto trays of utes and trucks.
- Demonstrate proficiency with hand tools and equipment.
- Utilize computer systems for inventory management and order processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
- Consistently meet productivity and quality standards.
- Assist customers with loading and provide friendly service.
- Unload containers and manage incoming shipments.
- Lift and carry items weighing at least 20kg.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Forklift driving experience and certification.
- Ability to fit and install toolboxes onto trays.
- Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and movement.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
